Redbridge Group Director Simon Welsh says Gen Z are increasingly opposing capitalism in society.
Mr Welsh said the younger generations’ experience with capitalism has been defined by “corporate predation”.
“Whether that’s around wages, whether it’s around pricing, whether it’s around climate,” Mr Welsh told Sky News Australia.
“All these things, they feel like they’re on the burnt end of corporate predation.
“There’s this profound economic disconnect that then flows through to this political disconnect that’s causing horrendous problems for the major parties in these younger folk.”
