Ekka train station demolished ahead of Royal Show

The Ekka train station in Queensland is being demolished for the Cross River Rail project, forcing visitors to find alternative ways to reach this year’s Royal Show.

The new Exhibition train station won’t be open until 2025.

Attendees will need to use Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley stations when the event goes ahead in August.

Additional bus services will be provided – details are to be announced soon.
