Intrepid Travel Managing Director Brett Mitchell says he is “hopeful” domestic travel prices will return to pre-COVID levels by mid-2023, followed by decreased international prices.
“We’re going to see prices come down, I think, come down pretty quickly domestically,” Mr Mitchell told Sky News Australia.
“Day by day, we’re seeing more international carriers starting to come into Australia.
“A number of the staffing issues that were also affecting our capacity outbound are starting to ease now.
“So it’s going to be a great time to get out there and travel and see the world.”
