Shadow Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews says the Voice referendum details need to be “very clearly defined” and asks “why is the government hiding?”
“What we’ve seen is a lot of talks, a lot of very emotive language coming, including coming from the prime minister – if there are genuine questions that we have, then surely they deserve a decent answer,” she told Sky News Australia.
“We will continue to raise the questions that people are raising with us – we may well get to a point where there is sufficient information for us to make a sensible recommendation to the people of Australia.”
